Choice 4 Inc. Invites You to…Clean Up Your Mind features eight previously unreleased recordings from 1972 sessions at Philadelphia’s legendary Sigma Sound Studios. The project captures an early collaboration between Washington, D.C. vocal group The Choice Four and the musicians who would later become the charting funk band Kleeer. Produced by Philadelphia Sound architect Billy Jackson, the recordings blend soulful vocals, psychedelic funk, and early disco influences, reflecting the experimental spirit of the era and the musical connection between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Preserved for decades in Drexel University’s Audio Archives, these long-unheard sessions now emerge for the first time, offering a rare glimpse into a formative moment in soul and funk history.
